Bergen County, NJ — now booking September & October dates
RC fun,
delivered
Excavators, rock crawlers, RC soccer, and a micro race track — we haul it in, set it up, and run it. Street fairs, corporate days, birthdays, fundraisers, breweries, senior communities. You pick the date. We show up with the fleet charged.
First booth ran August 8 at Ridgewood Sales Days.
The drive yard — real event, real drivers
What's in the yard
The fleet
Every machine is bought, tested, charged, and repaired by the same person who hands it to you. Here's exactly where each one stands — no guessing.
Concept rendering
RC Soccer — 1/10 Scale
Six drivers on the field at once, an oversized ball, and a walled arena big enough to draw a crowd around it. Nobody walks past this one. Built for street fairs, corporate days, and block parties.
Concept rendering
Mini RC Soccer & Racing — 1/76 Scale
The tabletop version. A fleet of Turbo Racing micro cars, a walled arena that fits on your kitchen table, and a race track that lays out in the same space. Pick soccer, pick the track, or have both there and let the room fight about it. Drop-off rental for 24 to 72 hours, or we run it as a station at a bigger event.
Concept rendering
RC Construction Yard
Excavators, dozers, and dump trucks working a real dirt pit. Scoop, haul, dump, repeat — it turns out that loop is hypnotic at any age. Timed challenges for the kids who want to compete.
Concept rendering
Rock Crawlers & Obstacle Course — 1/24 Scale
SCX24 crawlers over rock piles, ramps, and bridges we build by hand. Small enough to run on a living room floor, capable enough to climb almost anything you put in front of them. Slow, technical, and weirdly addictive. The course reconfigures, so the same crew gets a new challenge every time.
New machines get added most months. If you've got something in mind we don't have yet, ask — half this list started as somebody's question.
Every new machine and build gets posted first on Instagram — @bergenrcyard .
Who books us
Anywhere people gather
The machines change. The reason people book doesn't: put something in a room and watch strangers start talking to each other about whose turn it is.
Street Fairs & Public Events
You need a booth people stop at, not walk past. We roll in with the full-size soccer arena or the micro race track, run heats all day, and keep a line of people standing in front of your event. Staffed start to finish — you get a crowd, not a job.
Talk to us about your event →Corporate & Team Building
Team building nobody has to be talked into. Draft teams, run a bracket, put lap times up where everyone can see them, and let the quiet person on your team discover they're the ringer. Offices, offsites, holiday parties, client appreciation days. Ninety minutes or all afternoon.
Plan a company day →Parties & Fundraisers
Birthdays for the 10-and-up crowd who rolled their eyes at the bounce house — soccer, racing, or both, and there's a podium either way. HSA and PTO fundraisers where the attraction pays for itself. Graduations, block parties, and the occasional wedding cocktail hour. Drop-off or fully staffed.

How it works
Three ways to book us
Same machines every time. The only thing that changes is how much of the day lands on you — from a kit on your kitchen table to somebody running the whole event while you eat cake.
Drop-Off Kit
You run it
We hand you the whole thing and get out of the way.
- We deliver anywhere in Bergen County, or you pick up and drop off in Glen Rock
- Keep it a night or keep it the weekend
- Nobody from us in your house
Set Up & Stay
We run the gear, you run the party
We show up, build it, and stick around to keep it running.
- Setup and breakdown are ours — you never touch a crate
- Staffed the whole window, so nothing dies mid-party
- Opens up the big stuff, including the 1/10-scale soccer arena
Showrunner
We run the whole thing
Somebody leads it start to finish so you can be a guest at your own party.
- Organized games, scoring, and a champion by the end
- Rotations built so every guest drives, not just the loud ones
- Full fleet, and we bring spares of everything
Side-by-side, with what you do and what we do.
Drop-off rentals
Or keep the whole thing for the weekend
Not every good night needs somebody standing there running it. We drop a kit at your door, you keep it, and we come get it when you're done. Set it up on the kitchen table and leave it up — people wander back to it between meals, and it's still going after the cake.
What shows up
The layout you asked for — soccer arena with goals and ball, race track, or both — plus at least 12 cars with their controllers and chargers for everything. Charged before it leaves us. The walls clip together in a few minutes and that is the whole setup.
How long you keep it
Anywhere from 24 to 72 hours. One night for a party, or Friday to Monday so the rematch happens Sunday morning and nobody has to rush the good part.
Getting it
We deliver and pick up anywhere in Bergen County — you never leave the house. Or grab it from us in Glen Rock and skip the delivery fee.
What goes out unstaffed
The mini kit — soccer, the race track, or both — and the SCX24 crawlers. Small scale, forgiving, and nothing you can hurt yourself on. The 1/10-scale soccer arena doesn't go out on its own: it's heavy, it draws a crowd, and it runs better when we're there working it. That one we bring and run for you.
Tell us the dates and we'll come back with a number within 24 hours.
The calendar
The first ones are in the books
One fleet, one owner, one Saturday at a time. There is exactly one of me, and I run every event myself — so book a date and you get first pick of the weekend plus the guy who owns the machines standing there working them.
-
August 8
Ridgewood Sales Days
First public booth. Controllers in hands all afternoon, nothing broke that we could not fix on the spot, and the adults would not give them back.
-
August 26
Montvale Touch-a-Truck
Booth number two, parked next to the real trucks. A full day of first-time drivers, and the little machines held their own against the big ones.
-
September 11
Ridgewood Car Show
Next up. Full-size cars on display, ours actually moving. Come find the booth and take a lap before you book one.
-

Dates are open

October
Full fleet
Every machine, every weekend. The dates that go first are the ones people are claiming right now.
Photos and footage go up as we shoot them. See the machines run before you book them.
For event organizers
The boring details you actually need
If you run a street fair, a rec program, or a corporate calendar, you've been burned by vendors who couldn't answer basic questions. Here's ours up front. Need a W-9, a specific arrival window, or anything else for your file? Ask and it's in your inbox the same day.

Who's behind this
I'm a Glen Rock dad of two and a lead software engineer, and this started the way most bad ideas do: I bought a couple of RC cars for my kids and then couldn't put mine down. Then a few neighbors tried it. Then their parents wouldn't give the controllers back.
What I kept running into was how unwelcoming this hobby can be from the outside — a wall of jargon and a vibe that you should already know this stuff. Nobody needs that on a Saturday. So I'm building the opposite: real machines, set up and handed to you, no experience required and nothing to prove.
Every car in the fleet is hand-picked, maintained, tested, and fully charged by the same person who unloads it at your event. Local, hands-on, and genuinely into this stuff.
Straight answers
What if the machines break mid-event?
Some will. That's why we bring spares of everything and I carry a toolbox, not a shrug. The event keeps running.
Do we need to know anything about RC?
No. That's the whole point. If you can hold a controller you're driving in about fifteen seconds, and grandparents beat teenagers more often than you'd think.
What does it cost?
Depends on the machines, the hours, and whether you want us running it. Send your date and we'll come back with a real number within 24 hours.
